Una noticia escrita por el alumnado de 6º de primaria.
El lunes 29 de septiembre se acercó Izaskun, una representante de la Asociación de Niños con Cáncer de Navarra, a realizar un Taller para concienciar al alumnado de 6º sobre la vida de los niños y niñas con cáncer.
A través de un juego parecido al Trivial vimos cómo viven los chicos/as con cáncer cuando están con tratamiento y en el hospital. Las pruebas fueron juegos donde utilizamos los 5 sentidos. Nos contó las dificultades que pasan los niños/as que tienen esta enfermedad.
Realizamos varios juegos, como por ejemplo: por parejas unidas por los tobillos debíamos avanzar en círculo. Otro juego: mientras unos tenían los ojos tapados, debían averiguar los objetos y personas que tocaban…
Mediante preguntas y respuestas nos fue contestando a dudas que teníamos y relataron los diferentes tratamientos.
Para finalizar podemos decir que aprendimos mucho y que fue una experiencia inolvidable y muy positiva.
Last month, our 6th-grade students had the opportunity to take part in a very special activity led by Izaskun, a representative from ADANO — the Association for Children with Cancer of Navarre.
Through a fun and educational Trivial-style game, students learned how to better understand and support children who are affected by cancer. Working in teams, they completed different challenges designed to teach them about the effects of the disease and the important work ADANO does to help families and children in need.
It was a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved. We not only learned a lot, but also enjoyed working together and growing in empathy and awareness.
